In 2012 I purchased this 1990 Mazda Miata for $1600. It was running, but in need of a lot of work. I invested another $500 for a JDM motor and $200 for a new top and some paint. All work was done by me and by spring of 2014 the car was 100% mechanically solid and looked real nice. By the end of April the car had been totaled in a high speed  rear end collision along with my back.
